Our Story

After working in the beauty industry with over 35 combined years experience Carlene and Kim knew it was time to break out on their own. Their vision was to open a spa and salon that offered high end services, yet maintained a feeling of family and home. The goal was to create a fun, trend setting place that offered quality services and promoted a sense of community. In order to make this happen Carlene and Kim collaborated with others in the beauty industry and quickly established the Retreat family.

They wanted to create a spa that would offer the very best services using the finest products and latest techniques, and provide a truly relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. And it worked – Retreat was named by Columbia County Magazine readers as the “Best Place to be Pampered” and the “Best Place to Splurge on Yourself”.

Retreat Spa & Salon is a place of professional women, who happen to create beauty in each of their clients. It’s a great place to be part of.
